| The NEW “Pacific Adventura” 34RLB. When luxury meets practicality! |
| BASEMENT When you get the first glimpse of the new 34 foot, 3-slide “Pacific Adventura” you can see that this fifth wheeler is very different to all the others. When opening the large front hatch, first thing you see are two 600mm truss frames that run the full length of the van, and the underbody is more like a coach with a full length basement. Large tanks for the fresh, grey and black water are over the axles, but the remainder of the centre basement is empty for those all important things that a traveller needs to take. There is plenty of room for kayaks, and even a flat bottomed tinny, fold up trailer and outboard motor. Just fold out the trailer, hook it up to the Ute and slide on the tinny. As well as the centre storage section, there are more compartments along each side. The back left compartment houses up to four batteries, and the opposite compartment houses two 9kg gas bottles. A new feature, which is in the basement, is the heat exchange system. The van is heated via a continuous on-demand hot water system, which supplies hot water to the three remotely controlled heat exchange units. Endless hot water until your tanks are dry! A high volume 12 volt pump is also fitted to give “home- style” water pressure. Two Air-Command Air Conditioners are fitted in the roof, providing both heating and cooling for the van. The pin box is an air bag style that has a double acting Shock Absorber, which will help to eliminate any sharp bumps along the way. The display unit is also fitted with an Air Bag Suspension system that has an on-board compressor. This system is set up with a left & right circuit, so that when you need to level the unit on a sloping block, you can remotely pump one side up, and let the other side down. How easy is that…… LIVING Stepping into the left entry door, you get the feeling that this van is really something special. The warm colourings and the soft upholstered walls, with plush top-quality carpet and cushioned vinyl, all give you a warm, cosy feeling. At the rear, there are two plush recliner chairs that match the luxurious sofa, which converts into a queen size bed, if required. Housed in the large slide next to the sofa, is a timber extension table. The table and two of the dining chairs have storage underneath, and the other two matching dining chairs fold flat so that you can store them in the basement to save on clutter if necessary. Another new innovation in the second slide of the living area, is a “free room”. What a great idea! You decide what you want to do with this space - from a computer desk, exercise equipment, or Aunty Ethel’s antique desk!!! With the two opposed slide outs, and having a colour matched frame around the slide-outs, you could be forgiven for feeling that this living area is a lot bigger than it is. To round-out the comforts in the living area, is a huge LCD TV with DVD, and entertainment unit. The TV is on a secure swivel bracket, so you can view it from anywhere within the living area, including the kitchen. An abundance of overhead cupboards with mirrored inserts and plenty of large windows, which bring in ample light during the day, once again, give an overwhelming feeling of space. KITCHEN The extra large 224L Dometic three-way Fridge/Freezer is mounted above a huge pot drawer, which even fits a wok! All the drawers are made of plywood, are joined by dove tailing and have heavy duty metal drawer runners. All the cupboards are marine-carpet lined to help stop things sliding around. The pantry has four large slide-out storage drawers right next to the cook-top. The cook top has three gas burners and one electric hot plate and a stylish 240 volt microwave is included. The kitchen has a high volume 12 volt roof vent, as well as a range hood. The solid bench top comes complete with a matching coloured splash back. A deep, double pot-sink is a wonderful feature, with a modern high quality tap mixer. An optional clothes washer has been fitted in the back corner of the kitchen cupboard, enabling it to be easily accessible. BEDROOM Moving from the kitchen towards the bedroom, you can’t help noticing there are no steps! Yes, the “Pacific Adventura” does not have any internal steps, and the roof height is the same from the front to the back! Entering the bedroom, to the right is a large curved glass, non-drip, enclosed shower with a step seat for shaving legs or sitting down while you wash. The separate porcelain toilet is on the left with another high volume roof fan above. Further in on the left is a roomy vanity bench with a space saving vessel basin, at the perfect height that saves your back whilst washing your face! Located below are two cosmetic drawers. Looking up, is a roomy vanity/medicine cabinet with three well illuminated, modern makeup lights above the mirror. The queen bed has a curved timber head board, and a large bedside table/cabinet. More mirrored cupboards with LED reading lights are located above the bed. Additional clothing cupboards with adjustable shelving, and shoe cupboards are located to the right of the vanity bench. A large, double-mirrored, interior lit, built-in wardrobe is located on the front wall of the van providing a huge amount of hanging space and additional shelving. The back of the wardrobe is lined with aromatic Cedar to deter moths and silverfish.
